And so we’re finally back with another update. Normally I would’ve given you guys weekly updates, but the last few weeks have been a mix of boring data entry and a bit of time off. Seriously, the data entry has been the bane of this whole game making endeavor. It’s gotten to the point where I decided to make macros just to reduce the pain.
The good news is, I’ve gotten through quite a lot of data up to this point. I am at the stage where I just need to create and test a few more skills before I begin constructing the first year of the game.
Since it’s been so long since I’ve shown the game in action, and I’ve changed many things under and above the hood, I figure I’d show you guys a little of what I’ve been up too.
I have a few more skills completed and many, many more to make. I’m trying properly recycle animations but at the same time, I want to make sure each skill properly reflects their name and description. I have to remember my goal is to be done THIS year. lol
Well, I know this isn’t a whole lot of new footage, but believe me, I have much, much more content I haven’t revealed yet. All of the silence has simply been me working hard to get the boring data stuff out of the way so I can start showing you guys the visuals on a regular basis.
I am ALMOST there, it’s so close I can taste it in the air.
Once I get the remaining skills completed I will begin work on the first year. The next major update will be random footage from the first year. Or something, I’m not sure yet, I’ll cross that bridge when I arrive.
