What the future may bring!? The Z-Movement

We have all thought about what the future holds for us. I think about it a lot actually. I fantasize about what could be possible, what I would like to be possible and what I know will never exists in my lifetime. Through out my internet searching I came across a particular video titled “Zeitgeist Addendum”. After seeing this video I was very impressed and inspired for two reasons. One, because it shares a lot of views about our current world that I had already felt and two, it gave me a more clear image of a limitless future via the Venus Project.
The Venus Project is a resource based economy where education and technology advancement has major priority. All the resources on earth is properly monitored by a global network so it can be freely disputed amuse all who need it. Oh and did I mention there is no form of currency? Everything will be constructed by automated machinery. This allows humans to be free from working useless jobs that cause nothing but stress. But what will one do if they don’t work to gain money you might asK?
Simply anything they want!
The image above is an example of someone who lives in a resource based economy. She spends her days drawing in front of a crowd outside and inside of the community she lives in. The walls of her house is lining with a thin high quality multi purpose screen. In this case she is using the screen to display a public sketch. The program she is using allows her to hold up to 10 close friends and an unlimited numbers of guest to view her while she draws. She can freely chat with her close friends via webcam and chat with the guest through a chat room.(it’s located to the right, off screen)
This may seem like a fantasy but this is very possible with today’s technology. Unfortunately, our current society discourages such advancement in technology because it isn’t a very monetary investment. But I digress. I will begin making a series of images showing how our lives can be under the influence of a resource based economy.
