    Ugh, and it’s still winter…

    Dre

    By Dre | December 17, 2008

So as I sit here on this winter day, wondering if my hand will ever be numb less enough to pick up a pencil any time soon.

Uggghhhhhhhhh, I hate winter. Even more so due to my situation. (no in door air circulation, no money to buy heater, no money to support huge electric bill = shit out of luck)

But it’s okay, my spirit is still high. Even though I’m like a brick in water when it comes to cold weather, I’ve manage to entertain myself with video games. Now I know this is no excuse for my laziness and I plan to man up as much as I can and get shit done asap. So in the mean time, I figure I might as well inform you guest and anon as to what games are taking most of my time nowadays.

Two games in particle are in a tug-a-war for my attention.(leaving my poor site to sit and watch on the side lines)

Game one is (drum roooolllll) Star Ocean: First Departure for the Playstation Portable.

I’m a pretty huge Star Ocean fan (mostly part 2) so as I began to place the remake of 1 I notice the huge similarity of it with 2.(obviously) So this game has been like reinforced crack for me.(as a matter of fact, I’m going to need my hit again soon) I highly recommend you place this and it’s sequel remake coming out [insert ridiculously stalled Square Enix release date].

The second game is a bit on the adult side, but I have to name it cause it’s just so entertaining to play. Game 2 is Princess Waltz for the pc.

The game is a visual novel (like the ones I made) with card battling elements. The story itself doesn’t exceed too far from your average anime show but I believe through visual novel telling, the story is MUCH more enriching. If you enjoy watching anime (if not, what the hell are you doing here?(I kid, you can stay)) enjoying reading (we’re not talking about sunday newpaper reading, I mean full books) and is over 18 (I guess that cut about 70% of you) I highly recommend giving this game a play. You will laugh, you will cry(from laughter) and maybe even become a fan of visual novels. If all else fails, just keep in mind this game was a hit when it was released in japan. Now we have the english version uncensored.(birthday suit ftw!)

So now that you know what the funk I’ve been up too, I now go back to them. I’ll get back to drawing and other matters in the following days.(I’m almost done with star ocean) Laterz!
