After many months of suffering cold and “weather is bad I don’t feel like doing shit”. I welcome spring with open arms. That why I post this painting (acrylic paint), to show the very thing we all want to do during spring. Chill in some beach and stare at the ocean.

“Hum…..that’s not good….”Said the man. “That’s really not good.”

The man then process to load up the bios screen, checking to make sure everything was in order. “I don’t see anything wrong, let me try my second HD.” He boots up the pc again, this time with his second HD which has his original Windows XP still installed on it. He got the same results. “Oh no…” The man said. “It can’t be a hardware problem so it must be software, specifically dealing with the motherboard.”

To test this theory, the man reformatted his second HD and installed a fresh copy of Windows. Upon starting the PC with this fresh install, the computer booted up perfectly. “Ahh shit…” Said the man with a depressing voice. “If I want to use my new parts, I have to reformat my main HD!”

“FUCK!” Said the man to himself repeatedly.

The man then examined his financial situation and his time. He finally came to the decision the upgrade was not worth it. The following day he carefully placed all the original parts back into his PC and took the new parts back to the store for a refund. The man felt a bit depressed, but knew he had made the better decision.

Until a few weeks later…

It was a holiday weekend and the man just completed all his duties and was enjoying his stress free environment to the fullest. Suddenly, a thought came to the man’s head. “So what if I can’t get the best parts today?! I can still upgrade my PC a bit without running into software problems!” With this statement replaying in his mind with great ferocity, he quickly moves to fulfill his lost desire.

A Intel Duo Core 2.93GHz CPU and 8 GB of RAM was what the man purchased. Confident in his decision, he quickly got home and begin to make the switch. Being a bit too inpatient, the man took risks with the transfer of the components, all he could think about was the boost of power he would receive with the update. Once he got everything plugged and ready, he flicked the on switch and on came everything but the display of the screen.

“Oh dear god not this shit again…..” Said the man with depression resembling the situation prior.

He thinks the problem could be due to placing the CPU incorrectly, so he checks and everything appears fine.”Fuck it.” Said the man. “The RAM alone will do fine.” He then processes to place the old CPU back inside and starts up the computer once more, but the same looming blank screen glances back at him.

“Oh no, no no no no NOOOOOOO!!!!” The man shouts to himself; for he knew what this meant. The motherboard was killed, most likely due to his carelessness and foolishness of his decision. There was nothing more he could do but purchase a new motherboard and with it, the reformatting of his main HD.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, the idiot man is me. Yes, I had to reformat my main HD but nothing of value was lost considering I was able to back up all my files from my second HD. I now have most of everything up and running, the rest will be sorted out in do time. I do have the new parts installed and in working condition, so that’s good I suppose. *Sigh* If only I’d learned my lesson the first time, so much wasted time and money.

Skull – In my early ages I had been attracted to skulls. I use to read the medical books my dad owned, but only the bone section interested me. Skulls were the very first thing that I could properly draw at the age of 6 that wasn’t a stick man. The skull that I drew back then evolve along with my drawing skills to the point now that I can draw, paint and sculpt any skull with details and without the help of seeing one. Before I wanted to become an artist I wanted to be an archeologist and study the Aztecs, Mayas and other cultures that worship the dead and honored their ancestor’s remains aka the skulls. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay awake in history class. And yes! I think the Predator from PvE collecting the skulls of his prey is some bad ass shit. On a fantasy level my preference was the necromancer. I actually find it really fascinating. The power to raise the dead and control it at your will. IF I had that, WOW, I’ll be an undead warlock.

Well, that explains the origin of my nickname. Now if people were to ask me why I have that name I can just tell them to read this. I pretty much use it for anything: Xbox live, battle net, facebook and others. Unless some bastard got the name first then I have no choice but to use _ or – in between or add mx. But that’s another story.

So I told her what I originally had planed to do with my time this art semester and she agreed with it. She wasn’t very informed about concept art and what it entailed so she just gave me a quick assignment (this one above) to do while she got situated. With the assignment above, she handed me a deck of 52 cards and told me to create something, anything base off those cards. That was all. So I drew a card kingdom on a 14 by 17 sheet of paper.(sad to say it took me weeks to complete because of lolotherclassesworkshit)

She finally got back to me the other day about the rest of my assignments with a list of 6 possible concepts. They are as listed:

Deck of Cards~ This is the one above.

Camouflage(3 panels)~ There will be 3 images in total. The first will be of an person,place or thing completely hidden in its environment. The second image will be slightly hidden and the finally one will be completely visible.

Zodiac Portrait~ Create any character, surrounding or event dealing with any of the zodiacs from any period of history.

Cavern Space(past or future)~ Create a environment from the past or future of any kind, the catch is it has to be in a cavern or in closed space.

Lunar Eclipse~ Create a environment in any open location but have it including a lunar eclipse.

Elizabethan Outer Space or Other World~ Create a concept of any kind located in space or another world that is not familiar with ours and design it so it reflects the Elizabethan Era.

The best thing about allllll of this is I can do it digital.(Which I plan to do cause that’s how I roll) The next one I’m doing is the Cavern Space. I’m really excited for this whole thing!! I was only asked to do 3 more out of the 6 but they all sound so thought provoking! I may just do them all.

This change won’t effect me personally, I still will more than likely update at the same rate I have in the pass.(or the crappy rate I’ve been doing in the pass month or so, damn you game programming!!) But eventually I will adjust the site to compensate for the new authors and some time after that, a complete site change. The ultimate goal I hope to reach with this change is a multimedia hub for artist and creators. Buuutttttttt I’ll hold back on that future for now; the present is Allugic is now more than one person!

Ok, with that said, a bit of update on the game. Unfortunately, I ran into a bit of a programming problem………again…….BUT!!!!!!! I will be pushing myself over 9000 to fix that shit right after this update so I can get started on the art work once and for all!!!!!! Yeah, yeah, I announced this game ages ago and it was suppose to be done last year-ish but dang nabit, shit doesn’t always work as smoothly and variable-less as we’d all like.
