Thursday, February 26th, 2009So I feel I need to talk about my current situation. Oh you know, just in case something happens and you guy’s begin to ask questions. Questions I might be too lazy or too busy (or both) to answer at that time. So let’s begin!
First and foremost, I finally have a job. That’s right, if you’ve been keeping up with me from the beginning, you would know that I’ve been jobless since mid last year. My original plan/unintentional occurrence was to live off of commissions. But it is failing. So to pick up the slack, I have a job now. The job is mainly over the weekends and every once and a while on weekdays. I want the hours to stay low.(we don’t want another full time job/full time schooling disaster like the year of 07 was) So hopefully this won’t effect my webbing status and most importantly, it won’t effect my schooling.
Secondly,…….umm…..well actually that’s it. Or at least that’s every thing I wanted to talk about now. Well let me say this, if you have any questions about something I mentioned in the past, like a project or the like, you can ask below.

The Homework strikes back!

And yet another homework sketch done at the last moment for the junk art collection. This time around the class was asked to do a still life. I was to do my still life in color. About 2-3 weeks ago from the time of me writing this, I bought a large case of
Don’t worry, it’s not made up, I actually own that thing.(it’s a fake tail for you PETA followers) So it IS a still life, just not a very diverse still life. Unfortunately, my scanner didn’t seem to pick up the tail. I guess the color was too light. Prismacolors are pretty awesome, it’s going to take some time getting use to manually coloring.(curse you photoshop!!!!!)

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009I’ve always been a fan of the unique fashion of japan. Even though I don’t exercise this fashion personally (and don’t ever plan to do so) I really enjoy incorporating some of the aspects of originality you may find from our eastern buddies into my own creations. Don’t bother looking because you may have a hard time finding it but don’t worry, it’s there.^^
Here is a interesting bit of footage showing some of the unique styles that are present in contemporary japan that has a stronger focus on anime and manga. The video is

I welcome all to celebrated Singles Awareness Day with me! (If your in a relationship then gtfo! This isn’t for the likes of you! lol)
Now about the art work itself, I am very satisfied with the results! I decided not to go full 2d this time around. Mainly because I was attempting to mimic a specific style. The idea for the image is a bit racy but I hope everyone will get a good laugh out of it instead of offended.
